saw the new porsche!arthur12187 05-19-2003, 05:13 PM cayenne or something like that! the new 4wd one! and a f40 today while walking home! SuPeRcAr_MaN 05-19-2003, 06:09 PM Well, I would say the F40 is bigger news than the Cayenne. What colors? SilverLotus340R 05-19-2003, 08:15 PM i bet 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 0 million dollars to bet the F40 was red SuPeRcAr_MaN 05-19-2003, 08:41 PM Could've also been yellow or black, but I wouldn't bet against it being red... :D arthur12187 05-20-2003, 09:09 AM it was a red one. its not a bigge seeing a ferrari around here since i can look out my room and c the store! edonis 05-20-2003, 09:52 AM You don't see an F40 everyday (well, perhaps- at least I do, but thats just cos' theres a Ferrari/maserati/bentley/rolls dealer nearby the school) But the Cayenne is just normal, like the X5.. only cheaper... SuPeRcAr_MaN 05-20-2003, 04:12 PM I would be happy to have a BMW dealer nearby my home, let alone Ferrari/Maserati. All we have here is Chevy, Ford, Dodge, Subaru, etc., and tons of used car dealers. And those dealers don't have anything special. No Vipers from Dodge, only a few Corvettes at Chevy, but surprisingly a shipment of '04 WRXs at the Subaru. But you have to drive at least 30 miles to get a decent car dealer: Jaguar, BMW, Mercedes. So consider yourselves lucky... arthur12187 05-20-2003, 04:43 PM i have never seen a black or yellow f40! i might c one at a show in a couple of weeks! its a all ferrari show. hope i c a enzo! peril 05-20-2003, 05:02 PM AFAIK, there was only one official black F40 built. I don't think any yellow ones were built, but there's probably a lot of aftermarket jobs. :) SuPeRcAr_MaN 05-20-2003, 06:58 PM I've seen yellow ones that I am pretty sure are stock, never painted. And I thought there was more than one black one produced. I will have to look in the F40 forum. There was a discussion about this a while back. arthur12187 05-21-2003, 12:02 PM i didnt know there was a black f40! wow books arent so accurate after all! peril 05-21-2003, 04:35 PM There was only one black F40, I'm almost 100% sure. It had a red interior, very nice looking too. I don't have any idea about the yellow ones tho, I thought all F40s were red with the exception of the black one, as it was Ferrari's anniversary car so it was only in Enzo's old racing colours. :) arthur12187 05-21-2003, 05:06 PM here we go! http://www.astramotorcars.com/cars/images/f40.jpg http://www.priceofhistoys.com/museum/misc7/myf40.jpg both black and yellow f40's! except i am gonna have to track down the person who drove the yellow f40 and beat him senseless! SuPeRcAr_MaN 05-21-2003, 08:44 PM Yea, it pisses me off too when I see exotics get wrecked. But to be honest I am not a huge fan of the F40. It does look better in black and yellow than in red, maybe just because I am sick of seeing it in red. But nice job finding those pics. arthur12187 05-22-2003, 07:47 PM thanks, took me a while though! and i really wanted to c a f40 at that time but not red! i wonder if there's a f40 in white? The Sultan of Brunei has a white one ;) arthur12187 05-24-2003, 07:40 AM whats next a purple f40????  SuPeRcAr_MaN 05-24-2003, 11:17 AM Originally posted by arthur12187 whats next a purple f40????  Any colors other than red, black, and yellow have to be custom jobs. I don't think they should be any other colors. I would like to see a picture of that white one... christofurr 05-28-2003, 04:42 AM Originally posted by arthur12187 here we go! http://www.astramotorcars.com/cars/images/f40.jpg http://www.priceofhistoys.com/museum/misc7/myf40.jpg both black and yellow f40's! except i am gonna have to track down the person who drove the yellow f40 and beat him senseless! You do realise that the black one you pictured is a replica, don't you? And a pretty bad replica at that. The whole shape is completly out of proportion. And lets not mention those horrible wheels. There is at least 1 official Black F40 though. I'm not sure if there were official Yellow ones straight from the factory, but I do know the Sultan of Brunai has a Grey one. christofurr 05-28-2003, 04:47 AM Originally posted by SuPeRcAr_MaN Any colors other than red, black, and yellow have to be custom jobs. I'm not 100% sure if this is genuine or not, but it's something different :) . vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
