hi there I have a 2002 trail blazer ,I am turning crazy with this truck, no power in this engine ,the maximum rpm that I can get is 3500 rpm , pedal to the floor , I check the fuel pressure key on and hold the pressure to 52 psi, with engine running the pressure hold to 54 psi , do you think need replace the fuel pump?, I check for vacuum leaks, no leaks found , no codes present, I remove the oxygen sensor to see may be the catalytic converter is no good but no luck same thing and same rpm , took for a ride no power no enough power in this engine , new air filter , cleaned throttle body same thing , any ideas will be helpful .thanks dornier 34

Is this the small S-10 based truck or the larger Trailblazer with the 4.2 straight 6?

this is the larger trail blazer 4.2 engine 6 cylinders year 2002 48.000 mi the fuel pump direct from the fuel filter hold about 50 psi with engine no running ,open and close the switch, , with engine running is about 54 PSI, do you the fuel pump is not working properly? what should be the real psi from the fuel pump in this truck thanks dornier 34.

After all these posts in 2 forums, plus moving the post to the Blazer forum , now you tell us it is a different engine/truck, not a 4.2 v6 as stated, lots of wasted time for all!!! FP spec is 60-62 at idle.

What are the first 10 characters of the vehicle identification number, (VIN) found in the left door jamb and on the lower left corner of the dash, (visible through the windshield)? That information will tell us exactly what vehicle and engine you have.
