Full fuel system upgrade. Pump, injectors.. etc.

Turbo or Super Charge it..

ETC.. or just get a Supra or NSX or something.. Import a GTR..

My bf thinks they look cool. I dunno.. He just wanted to find out how to make it go faster. I want a Spyder personally, but whatever he wants I guess.

BAH! you'd take a Jetta over a spyder? what type of spyder are we talking?(because the MR@ spyders are ugly as sin) but if your talking say GT3000, then beat his ass down and get the spyder!

My bf's the one getting the Jetta.. I haven't picked my car yet. I'm lookin at the 3000GT Spyder though. Trust me.. You wont find me racing a Jetta. Right now I have a 95 Mustang with a 5.0 and a supercharger.. it kinda sucks so I'm looking into investing on tha spyder.

Good luck finding one. They are tough to get especially if you have something specific in mind. Took me almost a year to get the right one for me.

I wonder why your bf wants a Jetta. O_o

They aren't that fast and are ok for modding. As for the GT3000 Get a VR4.

Tell him to save his money, and just buy a GTI, or a WRX. I own a Jetta VR6, and it is not the car for performance people. Plus it is a POS. However the GTI is lighter with the same engine choices. And the WRX goes with out saying, you can take a WRX to cobb tuning, and give them 5 grand, and run low 4's 0-60. That is what I am going to buy very soon. Oh yeah if money is not a problem, why don't you just buy the new M3 Convertible.

Well, besides the power (or lack thereof), the windows fall into the door every other day, it falls apart like crazy, and runs like crap.

Believe me from 2nd hand experience (my brother has one).
