Clear glue in the Netherlands

Hi all,

I've been looking everywhere, but I'm having a very hard time finding clear glue (for taillights and such) around here. (the Netherlands) I've searched the forum and it came up with Krystal Klear being the most used, but I don't think that's available here. Could anyone point me in the right direction?? (possibly online store)

Thanks in advance
Marcel

Marcel,

Personally, I use this glue (http://www.1999.co.jp/asp/GoodsDetails_e.asp?Bno=&Typ1_c=107&Typ2_c=120&Typ3_c=286&SPage=3&SC=49&SN=Search+result+Search+for+%3A+clear&It_c=10014403&andor=0&scope=0&scope2=0&thumb=1&sortID=1&urikire=1&sort_sort=0&ItKey=clear&app_url=KeyReference_right_e.asp) (sold out on 1999.co.jp at the moment) and can't recommend it enough.

Perhaps you'll be able to find Humbrol Clearfix in stores near you? It also gets the job done.

Good luck,
Alex

I've bought Microscale's Kristal Klear in Harderwijk (for 6 Euro? can't remember), so it is available in The Netherlands :)

Elmer's clear blue glue also works. Although I'm not sure if you guys get that.

for all clear parts I use wood glue from Pattex or the like. Works fine for me. ;)

I agree with Huudo, just go for the white glue that dries without a trace,
or maybe if you can find it; the solution 560 glue.

I am also having trouble getting clear glue here in Australia. I might have to order some from HLJ. What are the best types that HLJ carry?

I always use PVA glue (it's very similar to the wood glue allrdy mentioned) and it's really cheap, like only a couple of € for a liter. (I found it in a local hobby shop)

Thanks for the replies guys. I guess I'll have to look just a bit harder as it should be out there. I'll also try the Pattex wood glue or some other wood glue.

Thanks again
Marcel
