96 Blazer fuel pressure problembparris 07-26-2010, 09:45 AM Hey guys. I have a 96 Blazer that I replaced both the spider and fuel pump in about a year ago. Started having issues cranking so I checked the spider and the plenum was showing signs of washing so I replaced the spider again. Well, still having problems with cranking. I just checked the pressure and this is what I got. Key on: Nothing for the first one or two turns. On the third it jumps to 60 and then sinks fast. Runnnig: 50 psi Before I replace the fuel pump again is there any chance it could be a relay issue? Airjer_ 07-26-2010, 10:09 AM Nope. Pressure is held by two things, either the check valve in the fuel pump or the fuel pressure regulator. It has nothing to do with electrical components. bparris 07-26-2010, 05:14 PM time to pull the fuel pump huh ? Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
