well im ither gona get a PS2 or a X-BOX i'm mianly want it for playing racing games and watching d.v.d's just wondering which one do you people recommend?

Its expensive, the games suck, it's big and bulky...like the controller weighs more than grande ham sandwitch, I only see fat, boring, middle aged, proffesional men buying them.

Ok you are gonna get the PS2 bcs it has Gran Turismo 3, and Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2. Which have the best cars and controls. What othere game will you find ferraris lambos and porsches sharing the same bill? Sega GT can go suck a lemon :finger:

that's why living in the country kicks ass. barely any stop-lights, barely any cops (i still obey the law, don't worry), and alot of wide open, twisty roads. driving rules out here.

Get the GAMECUBE!!!! it OWNZZZZZZ !!! then wait for Mario cart that game kick some serious ass

XBox is a lousy excuse for a console- it is just a whole lot of PC parts some asswipe 45 year old executive found lying around the office and thought cool! :rolleyes:


There is crappy games and the only good games are already on PS2- and Halo is not cool- Half Life 0wnz it- and 1st Person shooters are for the PC.

Xbox= Newer, hence a little faster.

PS2= Sony, hence the code is free to all, and anyone can make a game for it. They also have an established history of making consol games.



Iv played on both, and I have friends that own both, quite simply the X-Box is large ugly and has a very limited and poor game selection. The only advantage I can see it having over the PS2 is its slightly faster processor.


If you really like driving games then get a PS2, there is nothing that comes close to beating the GT series, Sega GT dosnt even come close, in fact I find it frustrating to play.

If you want pretty games that are easy to play lack imagination and orginalty but look good graphicly, and you have a shelf strong enough to surport the weight of the X-box then its the better choice.

:D ps2 rules x-box is so crap its jusy like buying a black block of concrete plus ps2 has games like gt1,2,3 and concept and numerous other drivig games beleive me i know:flipa:

as for the car thing it will come when the times is right in the mean time I need sumthing to keep busy with.. so as i can see in this poll PS2 is the way to go.. and im really lookin foward to play automodellista..

but i have to wait a lil for the PS2 cause i jus bought a minidisk player (sony mz-n505);) need my music for school and the train ride...

dose anyone know about a possible PS3 or is there going to be a upgrade for the PS2 to make it preform better?
