Is there a cabin filter for this model? Cabin air has been getting increasingly stale over the last several months. If there is no cabin filter, what might be the remedy?

Thanks....Greg

There were no cabin air filters for these models. You are probably getting some mold building up in the A/C ducts. That can happen this time of year as the A/C is used frequently. You can try spraying some Lysol in to the air intake in front of the windshield from outside the car. It would be best if you had someone inside the car to switch the various vent positions the air comes out of. That would help distribute the Lysol to all the duct work. There are also kits sold at most auto parts stores that do the same thing, but IMHO the Lysol works just as well.

Once you've corrected the smell try to avoid running the climate system with recirculate closed for more than a few minutes and if you can stand it run the heater for a minute before turning the car off.

Thanks guys. Lysol worked nicely. We'll see how long it lasts.

I do use the Recirc often to increase cooling in this geezer of a system. It helps.
