thier is no vss or abs signal what could cause this has p0500 & abs 72 code. what could cause both to be 0's.

Rear speed sensor?

I agree with Airjer, the wheel speed sensor is mounted on the rear differential housing.

tried the trans & the rear end sensor the trans sensor made the trans shift nbetter the rear end sensor made the abs & brake light go off.their is still no speedo & check engine light is on with p0500 code. still no vss or abs signal,could this be a com problem between the cab and the pcm.

It's a long shot but disconnect both batteries for 20 minutes then re-connect....kinda like a computer re-boot.

The dealer scaned it said that it needed to be reset, works fine now. I think the rearend sensor was bad. Does any one know what they are reseting and how.

I don't know what they could reset.

Talked to the dealer the new rear end sensor was defective. still don't know what caused both tran's and rear end sensor to be open no resistance.
