Vic makes rattling noise when going over bumps big or small

when i go over bumps it sounds like a bunch of mental rattling, when im on flat roads i dont hear it? Shocks have been replaced, but dont know if they were the best ones for my car.

It could be the shocks, but there are plenty more suspension parts that can be making the rattling.

Is it coming from the front or rear? Is it on the passenger side or driver side?

Check all the ball joints, tie rods, sway bar end links, upper and lower control arms, shocks, and springs. Look for worn out rubber bushings and excessive movement in the joints.

Also, don't overlook non-suspension stuff. Are the catalytic converter heat shields loose? These can make rattling noise among other things.
