Fuel Filter replacement.BlindMelon 07-03-2010, 04:25 PM Hi all, I'm trying to replace my fuel filter on my 91 Camry, but I'm having a little trouble getting the bottom screw off of the filter. I was able to get the top one off, but this bottom one is either too rusted on or I'm doing something wrong. So what happens is, when I try to loosen the screw, I start twisting the metal line that connects to the filter, and since I don't want to go too far (in fear of twisting the line too much that it breaks...), I need some help. I tried spraying that PB stuff on it, giving it a little tap, and waiting 5 minutes, but that didn't help at all. Also, I'm trying the two wrench method (by place one wrench on the nut of the filter and one on the line's nut, but none of this is helping. So, my question is a couple of parts... do I want to unscrew the line or the filter's nut, and is there anything that could aid me in this process of not twisting the line? If y'all need anymore information, since I have probably described this terribly, just lemme know.
