windshield wipers

Forgive me if this has been asked before, but does anyone know why my windshield wipers stay in the upright position instead of going back into the "storage" position when turned off?what's malfunctioning? Wiper motor, or turn signal lever? Thanks for any insight.

Tell us what year the GM is. Do a search as this has been posted many times before.....MB

it's a 92 GM. yeah, i looked back a little ways to see about any old posts, apparently I didn't look close enough! thank you.

I finnally found the old post!!! Too Old said it's the motor! Thanks again

Thanks again "Way Too Old" for the old post about windshield wiper motor! A new one fixed the problem. Works great now. This is a great source for great advice.
