Just wondering if anyone makes a CF hatch for ciciv hatch, either 92-95 or 96+

I believe that there is a place called Carbon Fiber Everything (.com?) I've heard rumors about a place that can make just about any car part carbon fiber. do a search.

are you looking to drop weight for racing? or just hink it would be cool?

there really isnt that much differnce if u just out on CF stuff, cuts down maybe 10 lbs... oh well unless you are gutting your car and stuff putting it on for wieght reduction well isnt the best move u can make for the money....

I think that Carbon Fiber hood and hatch would look awsome on a HB (planning on getting either a HB or CRX soon).. i seen WRX's with CF trucks and that looked nice, i saw a 95 integra before with CF hatch and that looked nice - it was at night though so it could of been painted or fake or something, i was about 10 feet away....

just wonderin cause you hear of people who replace alot of the body panels with CF or fiberglass for lesser weight all around.

IMO, I would think it would look kinda ricey. dunno, never seen such a thing. what color car? that could make all the difference

Well right now i dont have a hatchback, i have a 95 integra but i want to build up a car when i move to FL, use it manly for racing and show, debating between CRX and a HB..... color it would probley be a matallic blue or a yellow or orange.

Ditto to that. Though if you want to eliminate that understeer problem, I guess you could get the CF hood to go with it. If you're looking to cut some weight and don't wanna look silly you could get the CF hood/hatch and get it painted to match the body.

No offence but i know my stock hood and a carbon fiber hood only feels like maybe 10lbs difference? so you guys are telling me 10lbs is going to ruin the wieght distrabution by putting on CF hood and hatch? thats like just putting a body kit on/off.... if hondas are that bad that a couple of LBS will effect it that much - then just move the battery to the trunk.

or adjust your shocks.
or put a weight in the trunk.
or put your spare back.
or drive better.
or...

I've seen the trunks for a coupe or sedan but i've never seen the hatch...but if you find one let me know. Maybe put it on mine...the weight loss cannot be so huge that it will cause understeer!
