2004 Impala LS - Where is the Power Steering Fluid?

Has to be a stupid question, but I've never found it. I'd like to find it before it runs out and my power steering dies.

On my 2000 Impala LS ( 3.8 L ) , the power steering reservoir is mounted low on the back of the engine ( passenger side ) under the serpentine belt tensioner pulley . It is difficult to access as you will see ! The reason I know it's location is I had to replace the water pump recently and discovered it after the tensioner pulley was removed ! That made access much easier ! Hope this helps and will answer more questions concerning this if needed . Good luck !

I know the '04 Malibus had electric power steering, but I believe the W cars were still engine driven pumps in that year.

2004 and 2005 Power steering units are on top of the engine , passenger side. The serpentine belt drives the pump.

Should be check frequently.
