At what km's or miles should i change the o2 sensor in my p11. Also is there any brands that i should be looking for or which are better/ reliable etc.

Any help would be greatly apreciated:) :D

sluggish acceleration since the voltage was not reaching max sending incorrect fuel/air mixture. as soon as I got it replaced, my car felt so much lighter and livier (sp?). its great. :p

the service engine light came on after a hard launch. about a week later it went off, but then after another launch a few months later, it came on again this time not going off. so took it in.:bloated:

Thanks guys, i'm thinking now that i should have replaced it when i got the f**ken car as it has always been slugish. I brought it when it had about 20 000km on it. Two days after i brought it, i went for about a two hour drive on the open road (highway) which took a whole tank of Petrol (50litres) and it was guttless as hell. Now i can do the same trip in only 1/4, or less, to about half a tank depending on how i'm driving and it has 105 000km on it. I did take it into Nissan when we first got it and they plugged the little computer into it and it said everything was fine (i guess cause they never did anything). But i am unsure if this computer would show up anything if the o2 sensor is faulty in the first place. Never mind i'll just buy one from Nissan and replace it and hopefully all my troubles will be over:sun: .

Hey kenchan let us know how things went as this could happen to me when i change my o2 sensor.

Thanks

I've read up Bosch brand is good.

I'd stick either a good namebrand (bosch) or just go O.E. equipment for stuff like this

yah, just a quick replacment. 2 minutes to do.

80k? cool. yah, might be time, but probably still okay unless your service engine light comes on.
