Need Help with Pop uplights (fujimi kits)

I have absolutely no experience with how to attempt what fujimi asks me to do inorder to add pop uplights. This is the FC3S fujimi kit and i was just wondering if anyone with experience with doing this conversion could share some pointers and instructions, thnx

I know SpoonMan Dos opened the headlights on a 180SX kit, which would be similar...

I've not done it myself, but I'll show you how it's done on Tamiya's FC... :)

damn --;;; tamiya makes it so much easier and they can open.close... i'm just having trouble with the order of when to attach the headlights when painting since the part where the light goes doesnt fit really nicely onto the opening (u have to cut it out urself) without putty work. This poses a problem b/c that part and the main body are contrasting colours. If anyone can help with the order, thnx

In someways i'm tempted to give this up and get a tamiya FC.
