I have a tough choice to make, there are 2 cars I am looking at:

1) Honda Civic VP ( ValePack) 99' (4 Door)
Mileage 58000
It has everything that a EX has except the VTEC engine and a third party
power window (not factory), also missing the sunroof. It comes with a alarm
and
car starter. Also no ABS!
asking price $7000

Choice number 2

2) Honda Civic EX 95' VTEC Enginee (2 Door)
Mileage 80000
asking price is $5000


I like the 4 door better but which is a better buy? Need Civic Expert

IMO i would go with the 95 because it has more options and it has vtec. but it is kind of high in price if the car isnt perfect. Also mileage really doesn't matter on a honda because they can run until we re-invent the engine,so who knows. I would go with 95. What r your plans for the car?

What would you offer for the VTEC then? What's a reasonable price. I've check Kelly Blue Book and they give it about that price. I was going to offer possible $4400. What do you think?

is there anything visually wrong with the car? ask to take it for a test drive and then see for yourself if anything is mechanically wrong and then if nothing is wrong in both cases i would maybe offer somewhere around the $4g mark for it. anywhere from 4g's to about what u said 4400 sounds about right.

Id take the 95 too, just wondering but doesnt the '99 have struts in the front instead of double wishbones?

go with the 95 Ex. that's what i got. only i trashed the D16 engine for a B16A SiRII motor.
