yesturday after my automatic transmissions lab, my boy had totaled his old 95 gti 2.0 from drifting. well he got the exactly same car but now its a VR6 instead. well since we couldn't find a long straight we both decided to do a ghetto little drag on a short straight that lead to a long S sweep. since his car has more power he decided to let me go first then follow as soon as he heard he go. well we were even all thru 1st and 2nd. then at the end of second gear we hit the first right sweep. we both took the first sweep no problem, now we're on top of the third gear goin straight into the left sweep and now we're goin around 85mph. we both felt our cars starting to lose grip. his car was understeering and my car was about to over steer (thank god for excellent feed back on my car) anyways the S turn is now finished, and we both can finally get back on the gas, and then afterwards he started pulling on me from 4th gear. at the end of 4th he had 1 and a half car over me. my friend thought he was goin to blow me away. yes i know i didn't win. but considering that my car makes less power and weights about 100 lbs lighter then his. so i'm pretty proud.

we both lifted. and we both got on the gas again at aboutt he same time. my friend dan was in my car, and my friend ivan was in his car. dan thought he was goin to kill me. after the whole race, dan's like "thats it, his vr6 is a piece of shit. there is no way that your 4 cylinder can keep up with a 6 cylinder that weights less." hahah i honestly don't think theres anyhting wrong with his vr6 though. since his car the first gen's i make about the same power he does. anyways if anyone knows what do those things run in the 1/4? my friend says they run 15 flat.
