2001 Venture Transmission and Power door question

I have a 2001 venture that just had a transmission rebuild last December and it's now taking longer than usual to shift up when accelerating (sometime, maybe a third of the time) at low speeds, about 15-40mph. The engine revs up higher than usual then the acceleration slows a bit, and finally it shifts once that starts to happen. This is what happened before it started making high pitched whining noises right before it actually died last December. I didn't see any signs of leaking (I can't find the reservoir to check, unless it's not labeled, I'm blind. If you can enlighten the location to me, it'd be greatly appreciated.) Any suggestions on what to do?

And the passenger side power sliding door tends to reopen about the half the time when I try to close it. I can't see anything blocking it. Anyone know anything about this?

Any help appreciated :)

P.S. I thought I posted this earlier but I can't find it anywhere so I'm trying again

There is a Red dipstick on the rear of the engine drivers side behind the coke can looking EGR that is the transmission dipstick. Run engine to temperature and check level in the crosshatch.

My door was doing this, I had to clean the contacts on the door and the door jamb to clear it up, it works 99% now!
