whats the best taillight conversion?henry matyjewicz 05-01-2003, 01:19 PM I've seen a lot of mr2 back conversions. I just want to know what are other good conversion for the 5th gen civic. I really want to try putting s2000 taillights, anyone ever try this or know about it let me know. Melt 05-01-2003, 01:29 PM paint your stock tails all red :D henry matyjewicz 05-01-2003, 02:19 PM what about vinyl? how does that work? 97civiclx 05-01-2003, 03:28 PM my favorite conversion is the r34 headlight taillight conversion on a civic coupe i alsoe like the is300 conversion on del sols. henry matyjewicz 05-01-2003, 03:52 PM r34!? got any pics? I haven't seen that yet. 97civiclx 05-01-2003, 04:15 PM i dont have the pics i saw it in one of my friends car magazines, i dont remember which one though. henry matyjewicz 05-01-2003, 05:39 PM c'mon, I know you guys have madd ideas. I need inspiration. Kill4A911 05-01-2003, 05:53 PM IMO, id just take the money youd have to spend on that (body work, paint, labor) and save it for an engine swap or turbo. then your car will be fast instead of look fast. but then again its just my opinion henry matyjewicz 05-01-2003, 06:01 PM i did. I have a gsr in it, turbo coming soon. I like sleepers but i want it to look good too. even though i agree that always seems to be your opinion. Kill4A911 05-01-2003, 06:27 PM oh well , ive seen some cars that look really nice with supra tail lights. but im not sure if the shape of them would work well with the civic. these r33s look good on this prelude though civicHBsi91 05-01-2003, 10:02 PM you bought a civic why you wanna make it look like a skyline? 97civiclx 05-02-2003, 12:27 AM because i dont have the money to buy a skyline. chris26969 05-02-2003, 09:34 AM IMO , the s2000 tailight conversion . to me its just so nice looking . 911GT2 05-03-2003, 02:38 AM No such thing as a "good" civic taillight conversion. Kill4A911 05-03-2003, 11:26 AM hehehehe civicHBsi91 05-03-2003, 11:58 AM well if you need to do this then i geuss its better than altezzas mattyoung33 05-03-2003, 03:51 PM how about IS300 taillight conversion? Kill4A911 05-03-2003, 04:25 PM the IS300 is the US version of the toyota altezza so wouldnt it be about the same? mattyoung33 05-03-2003, 04:47 PM be the same as what? k6kicker 05-03-2003, 04:49 PM i dont know about best but i do know of the worst. Theres a kid in town with an older civic coupe, maybe like a 91~92 or so, painted baby blue and has r32 tail lights, but you dont think thats bad, well they are tiltled at 45 degreee angles because they wouldnt fit stright across  ghostchild316 05-03-2003, 05:03 PM I'm not down with taillight/headlight conversions, but I admit the best conv. I have seen was on a Del sol that was parked outside NOPI when I was in Atlanta last summer. It had S2000 headlights and a widebody kit. I was impressed. But of course that car didn't compare to the Jags,Bimmers,Corvettes,Mercedes, and this one NSX,a 2002 Porsche 911 Turbo and a Red RX-7 I saw... Thet Del Sol was somethin though...Clean lookin too;) Kill4A911 05-03-2003, 05:22 PM be the same as what? i though you where saying IS300 taillights instead of altezzas. my bad henry matyjewicz 05-05-2003, 09:36 AM Originally posted by 911GT2 No such thing as a "good" civic taillight conversion. yeah i know. i'm just curious to know how s2000 tail lights would look and fit on my coupe. i really like the skyline tails but you could buy covers from apc (crap) that look similar. chris26969 05-05-2003, 03:22 PM s2000 converision looks o so nice henry matyjewicz 05-05-2003, 06:50 PM Originally posted by chris26969 s2000 converision looks o so nice i'm pretty sure it would, i just can't find any pics anywhere. overdrive380 05-06-2003, 03:36 PM http://www.importezine.com/headlight_conversions.htm Try that link out.
