How do I change the 3rd brake light on my 07 Tahoe

Can someone tell me how to remove the 3rd brake light on my 07 Tahoe LS? I can't seem to get a grip on it to pull it straight out. I'm afraid I may break it. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

with these LED lamps they last forever IF they don't get wet....
sealing the plastic edges with a clear flexible sealant works ...
