I have searched all over trying to find an answer or sulotion to this with no luck. I have a 1998 Chevy Blazer it auto locks the doors when I turn on the engine, it auto unlocks the doors when I turn off the engine. The locking part doesn't bother me at all the not unlocking untill I turn off the engine bugs me. I know on other models you can change the settings of this (ie: unlock when shifted to park) is there anyway for me to do that to this model blazer or just completely remove the auto locking feature?

The owners manual explains the procedure for programming all of the options that are possible. If you don't have the owners manual, you can download one from the GM website for free.

have you added keyless entry My son has a 95 z71 does the same thing but because of the keyless entry they tell me it overrides the settings.
