2 ways to solve this... give me your money so you won't spend it (will definatly work), or see a therapist... but you have to pay to see the therapist so you're losing money agian... I think you know the other choice. :)

I get a lot of my hard to find and OOP kits off Ebay, and normally for a very good price too.....

Hello Antonio

I must confess that for the first while, I was hooked on search-and-bid but now I will search for rare kits and ignore the random ones that I can get elsewhere.....
I get some of my detailing stuff off E-Bay too, but not a lot.

I won't bid on multiple kits of the same model hoping somebody will outbid me soon because I only want one, like a certain friend of mine does:rolleyes:

I bought most of my collection on ebay, since most of the subjects I build are discontinued. (Fujimi Enthusiast, 1/20 F1, 1/12 F1, 1/24 Le Mans)

I've come a long way from paying $150 for a XJR Superdetail kit :(
to getting the 246 GTS Dino I built for $5 because it was missing the instructions. :D

Damn, I'm addicted to 1/43 Resin models inside. I recently won a BBR Factory built Maserati 3200GT for only US$80. Received it in brand new cond:D

I don't know what I would do without Ebay. In the past 2 weeks I have won the following items:

Tamiya Nissan Skyline GT-R item 24090 1/24
Tamiya Nissan Skyline 2 Door Coupe GTS 25T 1/24
Aoshima R30 Skyline 2000 Turbo RS-X (KDR30) 1/24
Aoshima Nissan Skyline RS Turbo Super Silhouette 1/24
Tamiya Nissan Leopard 280X SF-L 1/24
Tamiya Nissan Silvia K's 1/24
Tamiya Nissan GT-R R34 Unisa GT 1/24
Tamiya Subaru Impreza WRC 2001 1/24

All that cost me around $100 US. I was gonna pick up a few more, (Had my eye on a Tamiya Skyline GT-R Vspec) but, my wife told me that she thinks I have enough for now. :( But, I say you can never have enough!
Wonder what she is gonna say when I buy my Airbrush kit?

You can find pretty good deal on eBay, especially the kits thare are still in production, and someone is just gving up and selling at cheap. Or, find discontinued kits at a reasonable price.

To me, the place to shop is Yahoo Japan Auction, and recently, I got Westin S15 for $14 and a combo of Garage Mak S15 and Veilside S20 for $26. Still hunting for tuned S15.
