I need help. I just got a 1997 civic ex from a relative but the fuel gauge is stuck on full. Is this problem in th einstrument cluster or in the tank? Anyone ever see this?
Thanks.

Its the gauge!. I removed the instrument cluster and the gauge still says full. I removed the gauge and ordered a new gauge (cheaper than a used instrument cluster and don't have to mess with the mileage and the RMV). Waiting for the new gauge to arrive.

i had the same problem except it was with my temperature. It would always be on H. I took out the gauge cluster and adjusted the screws in the back and it turned out fine. Check to make sure your wires are in the correct place and your screws are tightened.

What if it gets resolved and somebody else has the same question? They could just look here instead of making a new post to annoy us with...

well obviously the thread was dead for a reason, obviosly since it is dead and 75% of the threads from even 2 months ago are from people the dont post here anymore. But most likely he got the problem fixed because otherwise he would have kept posting.
