Rice or nice? I live in orlando and i rarely ever see it at all. Drift King 05-13-2003, 11:20 PM I'm pretty sure its legal in Cali, I think it is in Arizona too. I don't know if its legal to drive with it on or not. In NJ it is illegal to have it on at all, that might be the same in Florida which is why you dont see it much. 911GT2 05-14-2003, 03:30 PM Illegal here. And they're rice. DeViL 05-14-2003, 04:44 PM The underglow lights aren't rice people have been doing that for years now. I would say get lights to match the color of your vehicle, which would be yellow. That or maybe black lights. What I think would be rice is if a person takes it too far with the neons. Putting them everywhere in the car in the engine bay, all over the place, to me thats just too much. I don't know if red is illegal but your not usually supposed to have neon lights on when driving, just when sitting in a parking lot. 911GT2 05-14-2003, 05:50 PM Originally posted by DeViL The underglow lights aren't rice people have been doing that for years now. So as long as "people" have been doing it for a long time it's alright?? Odd logic... BrokenLimits 05-15-2003, 01:10 AM Dude, just put one of each  That would be sweet  Spend your money on something else... CraniumDesigns 05-17-2003, 07:07 PM before i got rid of my underbody neons (cuz they're rice on imports) i have blue. i got pulled over once for em. cop said red and blue are illegal cuz they are emergency colors (at least in CA). my friend has green underbody under his expedition. now that looks nice. and we drive by cops all the time. they're green, so not illegal. BullShifter 05-25-2003, 01:35 AM Many states ban the use of blue & red lights(besides tail lights) As long as the light source is hidden its legal here. The underglow lights aren't rice people have been doing that for years now. - thats how I feel HOw about those color changing neon tubes? emerge 05-27-2003, 01:06 PM i really don't like underglow, but that really doesn't serve any purpose to your thread. anyways, i think green or red if you want an actual color. but personally if i had a gold civic and i was going to put underglow on it, i think white would be tight. i think if you had a gold civic, slammed on some nice wheels, with white underglow, it would look nice as hell. but my real opinion would be to spend your money somewhere else. but thats just my .02 ..... TheNotoriousMogg 05-27-2003, 05:20 PM yes red is illegal all neons that are the same color as the lights an emergency vehicle uses are illegal casperGSR 05-27-2003, 07:24 PM Originally posted by TheNotoriousMogg yes red is illegal all neons that are the same color as the lights an emergency vehicle uses are illegal to add on to this statement, this also includes green I believe, because to my understanding they're used by emt's. V00D00 05-27-2003, 10:54 PM Something that i dont know if its knew or not. Underbody kits that fades back and forth when you rev your engine made by redline. Its a neat idea at least. I agree though i do have better things to spend my money on :/ el_loco_civic 05-28-2003, 03:15 AM just remember, its only illegal if youre caught w/them on  vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
