"(...) those famous scissor-type items so often a feature of Lamborghini supercars having been ditched (...)"

I see what you mean.. It's clearly a misleading sentence... I think Lambo designers would ever think of 'ditching' one of it's biggest trademark! It's a way to differentiate the Murci from the 'little brother' Gallardo

there not putting it ONLY on the gallardo because then if it had those doors then there wouldnt be much of a difference between the murcie then no body would buy the murcie because almost every thing then would be the same, so then they would lose lots of money, so that would suck:(

This has been discussed many times before, when we first saw pictures of the car. This is a much cheaper model than the Murcielago, and they figure you should pay the extra money to get the trademark Lambo doors. I think the regular doors look fine. It really doesn't take anything away from the car.

i think it kind of looks better on the gallardo with the regular ones than the traditional, it looks alot better on the murcie with the traditional ones.

I hated it because people quept posting tiny pictures of it, in these photos the car looks rad.

Yeah I saw what happened in the Z06 thread, don't worry about it, I think you're funny as hell, but that guy doesn't know you like I do!:D

remember, the Gallardo is the successor to the Jalpa, which had normal doors.
