1/24 Tamiya Nissan Skyline GT-R (R32)
This kit was my first attempt at fitting non tamiya wheels to a tamyia kit.
The kit was painted as per the instructions for the interior and gun metal grey for the exterior as this is the most common colour seen on the roads. The wheels chosen to add to this kit were Aoshimas Veilside Marriot wheels chromed. AS it was my first attempt at fitting these wheels I decided to simply try glueing them onto the brakes. Doing this was very simple but has the disadvantage that the wheels end up sticking outside of the wheel arches. On any other car I feel that this would just look wrong, but in my opinion on this car it makes it look like a real street racer. Which is just the look I was going for.
